Equinox Payments M5200, M5300 Terminal Oveview

The L5000 series is a customer-activated credit card terminal that you could find on any store counter. These can be easily integrated with digital cash registers at large-scale American retailers. The Equinox Payments M5300 PED credit card terminal can be used online or offline. It is EMV- and PCI-compliant using Fixed, MK/SK and DUKPT Key Management. Functionality includes Display, ICCR, MSR, CTLS, PIN, Entry, OP and SRED.

Features & Benefits

The Equinox M5300 credit card terminal is the top-of-the line for customer-activated processing systems. With the contactless reader, the M5300 has dimensions of 21.1 x 18.0 x 6.4 centimeters (8.31 x 7.09 x 2.52 inches) and a weight of 0.82 kilograms (1.8 pounds). The large 5.7-inch (14.5 centimeter) 640 x 480 pixel color screen makes it easy to read customer information. The touchscreen has a durable glass top. The standard alphanumeric key pad includes 3 x colored function keys along its right-hand side partially hidden by the rubber privacy collar.

The Triple-Black design has a pen holder on the left and bi-directional encrypting magnetic stripe reader on the right. The standard memory is 256 MB Flash / 128 MB SD-RAM. The processor is 400 MHz, 32-bit running the Linux operating system. Power is AC: 100-240V, 50/60 HZ and DC 12V @ 700mA or 24 V @ 350mA. Communication is via RS232 or USB. The Equinox M5300 credit card terminal supports all major eWallets.
