Chess payment Technology International is one of the three companies that form the Dutch conglomerate Chess Group. While the other two companies in the group focus on hardware and integrated software for electronics, Chess payment Technology International leverages that experience into producing robust and reliable payment processing solutions. Employing around 15 people in their Haarlem, Netherlands head office, they play a major role in the Dutch and Belgian credit card machine market with over 10,000 active clients.
Chess payment Technology’s Pay4You credit card terminal consists of three components. The central system is the Pay4You POS terminal. It is equipped with a Maxim USIP high performance 32-bit MIPS processor, a 128 by 64 pixel backlit color display and a 15-key entry pad. It can connect over both Ethernet and USB and is EMV and PCI security certified. All card formats – integrated circuit, magnetic strip and contactless – are supported. It comes in both fixed and mobile configurations. In addition to the aforementioned features, the mobile POS comes with a 12-hour lithium-ion battery good for over 200 transactions, car and travel chargers and a GPRS wireless modem.
The Pay4You Reader is a smaller and less-featured version of the Pay4You POS terminal. While it only supports contactless and integrated circuit cards, it is very light and inexpensive, making it a good and inexpensive option for mobile applications or auxiliary services.
Pay4You GO is a contactless card reader that comes in both a countertop and vending variety. The countertop variety features a small graphical screen, three function keys and a USB connection option. Small and lightweight, both of the solutions can be powered by Ethernet or MDB.
Features & Benefits
Pay4You credit card machines are designed to be responsive and Chess payment Technology International works hard to future-proof their technology. They offer remote software updates for their terminals and manage their reports in the open XML format. The wide variety of power and connection options that their terminals offer allows them to be integrated into existing systems as well as to remain in place after network upgrades. That can save business owners on payment infrastructure upgrades in the future.
Chess payment Technology’s Pay4You credit card terminal systems are an innovative and robust entry in the European payment processing market. They particularly excel at mobile applications with their Pay4You POS mobile terminal and at supporting the increasingly popular contactless card payment standards. A business that requires payment processing services in those two areas would not regret exploring Pay4You in more detail.
